Happy Anniversary!

Can you believe it has been 5 years?  It seems like we have always been together and also like we met just yesterday.  Our lives are about to take an amazing journey into forever with the babies we have always dreamed of.  Thanks Andi for making my life so rich in laughter and so much love.

What better a way to celebrate 5 sweet years than with a chocolate sunday for breakfast. YUM!

This is the one thing Andi may love more than even me... ICE CREAM!!!!!

Wait let's go back!  I did not get any ice cream mama!

Walkin' off the breakfast calories in "Sunny" San Fran.
Cheers to the five years we have shaved off of forever!

The expanding family

On this last trip to Cali we got to meet the two newest bundles of the Wiersch clan.  Now we realize that these boys are halfway to manhood, but well... we do not leave Seattle as much as we would like.
Here we find Andi with little man Max

Max was mad it took us so long to come see him!

Auntie Mia saves the day!!!

The happy Hanleys,
Well-coifed and well-rested, Max is a great sleeper!

Here is Sam the tank! What a butter ball!

It was a pleasure to meet Tiffany, James' main squeeze.  The Costellos call her the baby whisperer, and Tria is pleased.

Sunny California

Well, not so sunny. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there, but these sunny faces brightened our trip.

The great name debate

After a long list, and many suggestions from family and friends (thanks Betsy for all your hard work) we have come to a decision.

Drum roll please...

We are proud to say that our babies are healthy, happy, and growing.  They both have two lovely hearts complete with four chambers each. Their spines, kidneys, and brains are great. Their bones are all growing at an appropriate rate.  One of them is very good at following commands and the other is a stubborn little monkey.  At one point I said " i wish we could get a picture of this one sucking it's thumb".   And the little rascal did exactly that!  We could not be happier with today's ultrasound results.  I guess you all want to know what we are having... well just click on the video to find out.

Just a glimpse...

... into what life will be like for us.

We had dinner with our friends Sara, Gary and "the boys" Jake and Luke.

There was laughing, crying , cuddles and story time.

Looked like a lot of work, but we can handle it.... right?

Most of all we saw all the love. Double the love all the time.

Welcome to the world Lucy!

After a long wait Lucy made her debut on inauguration day.  She wanted to be part the historical day.
She is so tender and lovely!

Mom and dad are so in love.  Congratulations Lin and Andrea!!!
