Today was a bittersweet day for the girls. You see, one of our dearest friends (not to mention the girls fairy godmother) is leaving Seattle. This afternoon was the last time we will see her until we visit NYC.
Who could have known the love we would have for her and how stupendous a friend she would be.
I have said it once and I will say it again and again, Maree we are blessed to know you and we thank God for you!
Quintessential Maree
Always there and always smiling.
Just 45 minutes after the girls were born.
There was our Maree, wearing a smile so big you would have thought the girls were her own.
And to some extent they are.
She is embedded in their hearts and they may have just stolen a bit of her heart that day too!
Even though every time Emerson sees you,
It's a bit of a cry-fest.
It is not long before you are besties.
Somehow today this is what you got.
No tears, just smiles and kisses, as if she knew this was a very special day!
Now Marlo, a different story all together.
You two have a bond that cannot and will not be denied!
Just look at these two cheese balls!
SMITTEN with each other!
First week
11 months.
We have a lifetime of memories left to make and just as many pictures to take.
Maree, we will never be further than a skype, text, call or plane ride.
So don't worry, and don't cry!
We will see you soon and love you ALWAYS!!!!
