The baby moon

Hello sunshine and rest, how we've missed you!

The hotel

The pool

The "buddies" take one

take two...

okay, here is a keeper

The belly!!!

Pool-side glamour

Towel service

Ready for a night out! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Apparently I thought I was in LA.

So sad, my virgin drink is just not the same!

Makin' the best of things...

...and being super silly!

The last day at breakfast.

Looking good and checking out!

We had a great time laughing, lounging, and resting before the girls arrive.  Thanks Andi for setting this up and not making me go to chilly Canada instead!

28 week photo shoot

I am currently 30 weeks along with babies, but not quite there in blog time.
The girls are growing well and getting really strong.  This is the foot that keeps attacking me.  So cute and I can't wait to tickle those toes.

Miss Marlo, always cooperative, gives us a nice profile.  Must be nice in there judging by the smile she is sporting.

Emerson (Eme),  the mover and shaker, can't quite sit still enough to get a clear shot.
I'm sure she probably won't sleep thru the night until high school.

If at first you don't succeed

So, when you are pregnant they make you prove that you are able to hold your sugar.  Now, I thought that because of all my years of candy intake, this would be the easiest test of my life.

There in the fridge sat the dreaded glucola cocktail that every pregnant woman swears is the worst thing they ever tasted.

In the glass with a bit of ice,
here goes nothing....

De-lish!  This was like the kool-aid of my childhood, but after you snuck more sugar into it.

This is not so bad!

All gone, and off to the test.  A blood draw later and guess what? I find out I fail by 3 points!!!!
Now back to the drawing board.  This time they double the sugar and triple the blood draws. It was sooooo gross. This is why no happy pics.  Finally after the three hour torture session, I passed with flying colors.  I guess "the girls" want me to experience everything possible.

Happy Anniversary, part two

In Feb., we made a trip to California; there we celebrated our true 5-year date with a huge Ghirardelli's ice cream sundae.  That was Andi's present, and it was good, but here is mine.
A few months late, but worth the wait!

We laughed so hard we almost peed our pants... no pregnant jokes please!

A night to remember!
Thanks Buddy!!
Maybe for our tenth it can be Larry David for dinner!!

Fresh and new

The girls' room is coming along, and not in a traditional nursery way.  We decided to throw some more bold color in.  Look how nicely Andi matches the dresser.

Looking good

Now filled with all their new clothes

Ahh! Finished, until we decide where to get drawer pulls.
