Practice makes perfect

This is Nora, and yes, she is as busy as she is cute!!!

While she was visiting us in Seattle, Andi and I thought we would try our hand at the care of a toddler.

What we learned is...  sugar makes kids follow directions!!!  Even sharing!

Also, kids eat really really slow!  One mini cupcake took like 30 minutes to get down.

When sugar fails, perhaps pampering is the way to go with some kids!

Here is Auntie Custer with Nora at her first mani!  I see lots of these in her future!  The last and most important lesson was, remember to give the toddler back to mom before the sugar rush crash!!

REWIND...

Almost a month later, I am posting about the last fun day we had with our families while they were in town.  I imagine that when the babies come there will also be some blog delays for a while.

Oh Seattle, you are so pretty.

...and you have the best brunch!  Here we all are at Salty's in West Seattle eating till we split our pants!

Nora was more interested in the view than the food... until someone gave her donuts!
So cute

Seriously, these two are too much!!!  Our sisters are "booty-licious"!

More sister love!

Can you say HUGE?

Here we are at 32 weeks, even though today, June 1st,
officially marks the 33 week mark!!
(I have been living a week or two behind since the pregnancy.)

I realize that this is a fancy camera trick, much like the one realtors use to convince you the house is bigger than actual size; but it is how I feel.
Mega
Immense
Extensive
Colossal
Monumental
Elephantine
Capacious
Voluminous
Herculean
Plump
Family-sized

PREGNANT, SMILEY AND LOVING IT!!!

Our sunny seattle shower

Our magnificent friends created the perfect setting to celebrate our double happiness!

I mean, just look at this cake!!!

What could be better that three cute ladies and cake?

The mommas cheers the babies

Look- "the girls" get their first party CHEERS!  This will probably be their first word.

Aww Mema! You can never get enough of her!

Auntie Ann made the long trip for the girls. They sure are lucky to be so loved!

The grandmas!

The grandmas and Waldo!

Custer/sister time!

The Wiersch gals

de la Calle crew

Sister-in law? Not in this family; we are all sisters-in-love.

A party is not a party without the BELLY BUMP!!!

Whose belly is bigger?

I win, but I am pregnant!

Baby belly love!

Usually never photographed- Karen, is it really her?
Look, Jen and I wore the same dress that evening... I know, hard to tell!

Andi, Amber and all the loot!

Elaine... We loub her!!

The bestest pals/ aunties a girl could wish for!!! We are blessed!

Rob and Terry... the only men in Seattle that hold our hearts.

The "Love" basket.  It is was a box full of "sexy time" to be raffled off to one very luck guest!

Our gifts...

made us cry...

and made us laugh,
but mostly made us feel so loved!

Oh, and who do you think wins the basket?

My mom!!!  So cute, she turned red and then had it re-raffled.  She said it was a basket for the young people!!
The winner... Clarissa (not pictured because she rushed home) hehehe!

Thanks to all our family and friends for making our lives a great place to be!!!

who says I can't

The ICU planned a bowling field trip, and well, it is no secret that I LOVE BOWLING!
I'm not great, I'm not even good,
some would say I am downright terrible... I can barely break 60 some games, but I LOVE IT!

So I dressed my big prego belly up as a bowling ball and headed for those shiny lanes and curvacious pins!

Graeme had to try my baby bump ball out for size.

Look at all those cheese balls!

If any of you still have doubts about my skills, here is a glimpse of the new improved prego bowler!!!  I got 110!!! It must be the twins.
