37 weeks!!!!!

Hi, here we are at 37 weeks and 4 days. We are all getting ready for the big day on FRIDAY!!

Hard to believe how fast 9 months can go when you wait two years for this experience!

2 weeks of waiting for the positive test results!

8 weeks of waiting to see the heart beat and then getting the surprise of two little hearts!

12 weeks of waiting to drop the bomb of twins on our family and friends!

14 weeks waiting to feel them kick... worth every single second of the wait!

15 weeks of puking every morning, just part of the deal... no biggie!

18 weeks to find out all their parts were fine, good heart, brain, kidneys, and yes the two of them GIRLS!

34 weeks waiting to see if I would have to have a c-section ....the answer is YES!

36 weeks of thanking people for their immense generosity! Truly feeling the overwhelming love of our family and friends. Sleeping as much as we can. Taking in advice from the dearest people in our lives.

37 weeks of loving every minute of my "perfect pregnancy". Having the privilege to bring two little lovies into the world and change it for the better!

Hard to believe that I have waited my whole life for this and here I stand proud with a life-changing moment just around the corner!

I knew we could do this, we just had to wait for the right babies!!

The perfect crime

...Or so they thought. The other night we came home to a very disturbing scene! The tough streets of Wallingford had given way to another homicide. This time the vic was a poor innocent squirrel. We did what we had to do and called in SVU.

Poor squirrel, out for a jaunt, had no idea what fate would bring.

Cut down in the prime of its life. What was the motive? We may never know. The investigators came up with two very probable suspects.

When interviewed by the detectives, this one, who they call The Punisher, did not have much to say. 4 hours of grueling interrogation and all they got was a couple of grunts and some drool... the cops had donuts!

Finally the detectives moved on to the next possible culprit. This one, known as the Tiny Terror, was questioned for a mere 2 hours. They got nowhere. I mean look at her, does this face look like the face of a brutal killer? Please.

After a court case and much press, our little Wallingford community is finally safe. The perp is now behind bars where he belongs...

Or is she...?

the last date night!!

This is it the last date before "the girls" come! I hear it will be at least six months before we even mention "date night". So we did a "cheesy" night out: Melting Pot for cheese fondue and then topping it off with a cheesy girl flick The Proposal.

Things were going great... until I could not fit my ginormous belly into the booth.

The very nice waitress brought me a chair to put at the end of the table. So now, not only was I embarrassed, but also a fire hazzard, but at least i could eat my cheese! YUM!!!
