F.D.O.S.
September 17, 2010
Dear first day of school,
Just in case you missed it, we ROCKED you! There were no tears, there was no clinging to mommas, no fear of the unknown. Who were these two brave chicks you ask? Emerson and Marlo!
What exactly did we do to ROCK you f.d.o.s? Well we'll tell you.
Blocks, we stacked you. Kitchen set, we cooked and cleaned you. Purell, we gelled you in and out the door. Horses, we rode and corralled you. Name tags, we styled you. Circle time, we sung and danced you. Slides, we slid you, and illegally climbed up the wrong side of you; WHAT OF IT, we're REBELS! Best of all, Teacher Janice, I think we charmed you, 'cuz you kept picking us up. YEAH! f,d,o,s, you were not so scary and we are gonna keep coming, so hang on to your play structures 'cuz we're gonna rock you all year long!
Peace out!
Emerson and Marlo!
here is a looksie.
Northwest Toddler co-op chicks rule!
thanks Tia Elaine for our f.d.o.s. duds!

first steps
I waited a long time for this moment and it happened in Chicago, while I was in the house!
Hey this isn't that hard after all
Away I go!
meeting abue anita
I have such amazing memories of my grandmother.
In so many ways she was like my second mom.
She was always a great presence in my life; she would tell me stories, teach me to knit, make and decorate cakes, and most of all I never doubted how much she adored me.
I cherish those memories, so I wanted my girls to meet her and love her.
I think they do, and Abue was pretty smitten too.
Lookin' pretty good for her mid 90s.
Perfect start to a lifelong love. Even though I know she won't be here forever, the love we all have for her will. Here is Ana Luisa and Eme Luciana, her namesake.
LOVED!
