Little Angel Eme

When she is "on" she is really "on".
I have to remember this cute little face on the days that she is being totally feral!
Thanks Agata for these great shots!

Good Pesach

Last Thursday night we had our all-girl Seder.
  It turned out GREAT!
Andi and I cooked our little hearts out on Wednesday night, and boy was it ever worth it!
We continued some great family traditions and we may have created some new ones. We loved having the Houcks (minus Eli) with us and our ever-present Auntie Courtney.
Thanks Guys, you made it a great night.

So, you may notice that our Seder plate is not very traditional, and since we cooked and cooked the night before, we just may have run out of eggs.  So in place of the traditional roasted egg we snuck in one of our favorite Easter treats- the Cadbury egg.  How's that for melding traditions/religions?
Anyway, hope God has a sense of humor about this one!

We love the Rudermans, and since we could not celebrate with them, we used their family Haggadah in their honor.  Actually, we love the brevity and sweetness of it.  In fact, we may just rename it the Peinovich-de la Calle Haggadah for next year.
Thanks Eric, we could not have celebrated with out this!

Man oh Manischewitz.
This sweet little treat was not as bad as I recalled.
We ate, we drank, we prayed, and we gave thanks for freedom and family.
It was a very very nice evening.

The End!

Earth Day

The other day while I was sleeping, Andi took the girls to the Sculpture Park to celebrate Earth Day.

They had their little faces painted

And had a great time with this cute little guy!

They all watched some performances; the break dancers were a big hit.
(Video to follow, if I can ever get it downloaded!)

Mostly they just hung around playing,

being super-duper cute,

Sharing nicely ( at least for this pic)

And helping clean up.

I can only hope that the Lydens agree to an arranged marriage, 'cause we love your little family!

In fact, maybe we should arrange a family marriage and move to Utah.  Picture it... wine, free childcare, and cheese.... Ah, life would be soooo good!

Spring

A time of rebirth...
sunshine, flowers, and new "dos"

What to do? what to do?
So we all went to Tangletown to consult very our own hairstyle maven, Jale.
Moms got new cuts, and then the girls got
bangs

The girls were none too excited about this crazy lady with pale skin and bright red lips coming at them with scissors, so we opted to let them sit in their strollers for the cut!
Just look at the excitement in everyones faces.
Just to let you know, Jale is not a "kid" person!
But these two have managed to charm even her!

First up,
 Eme

Not too sure about the bangs.

Not too sure about Jale

 Or the bangs.

 "hey Eme you look great!"

Not bad, not bad at all!
And so left 4 happy gals with a 'spring' in their step and some great hair.
