As seen on T.V.

For weeks I had been telling Marlo that we would be going to see Elmo at his house,
in hopes that when we saw this show she did not totally freak out.
So here we are at Elmo's house...
the Tacoma Dome.

There was singing, dancing, laughing, faces of disbelief, wonder, and, I'm not gonna lie, a tinch of fear.

Please note that Marlo's face did not chance for the whole performance.
Luckily, I know she was not scarred, because she wakes up every morning and screams for ELMOOOOO! ELMO, ELMO, ELMO, YAY!!

Marinda

One by one, our pals seem to keep heading off for greener pastures and sunnier skies!

These two knuckle-heads showed up outta nowhere and stole our hearts!!
I precepted Marinda for one night at work... She was shy, unsure of herself and by the end of the shift she was in tears.  Who knew that a night like that could lead us to a friend for life?!

Oh, and by the time she waved goodbye to Seattle, she was outgoing, confidant, bold, witty and outspoken!  Everything I knew she had inside her on that very first night shift.  I guess she just needed a little nudge by a pushy gal like Stephanie.  heeheehee!

I'm not even sure how it all happened, but from one day to the next Marinda and Stephanie were as much a part of our household as anyone we hold near and dear!!

Oh how Marinda LOVED my dogs, and thru them came to love my babies too.  You see, I'm not sure she was quite the "kid person" she looks to be in these shots.

Well, these four became fast friends and made some pretty amazing memories!

Just look at the love in her beady little eyes!

 show offs

I'm sure they would have been smitten even if she had not brought them cupcakes EVERY visit!!

Marinda, we love and miss you like crazy around here, but we are sooooo happy and a little jealous that you are back home. I'm sure that all feels right in the Midwest, but the Northwest is super sad!
Oh, and Stephanie, you better get your tush over here soon!!

Kid's cuts

When I was little, we never went to a place like this because my Uncle Patrick married a hairdresser.
I was secretly jealous when I took the girls!
It was their first "official" hair cut, complete with toy cars, tattooed ladies, and lollipops.

Please mom no pictures until after my cut and style!!

Seriously, all our hairdressers are tattooed.

Don't I look great Tia?

Kissably so!!

Marlo is ALWAYS a skeptic

Okay, this is not too bad.

I kinda love this car !

Do you think I can drive this home??

Mayhem & Merriment!

That's what you get when Yaya and Val come to town.
Just take a peek.

These two are still two peas in a pod!

We always take our wild beasts to the zoo

Just recently they have started insisting that they hold hands ALL the time.  Even in the strollers.

 I kinda love it!

 And they love to bounce!!
Yeah, we signed up to win one of these puppies.
No call from the trampoline man, but Andi promised we would have one in the yard of our next house!!
Now it's in writing, so no take-backs buddy!

L.O.V.E.
 these four cheese balls!

 Mother's Day brunch!

And just like their mommas and Tia and Yaya,

These gals are oh so very sad when the drink is gone!!
